| Methodology |
Teachers tend not to keep up with web technology - way too many teachers still teach Dream weaver without teaching the basics, or just go straight to teaching multimedia rather than at least starting with standards. 60% of jobs ask for flash and CSS skills (This is an approximate figure arrived in our survey with few of the top hirers). S16 Web and Graphic Designing School starts with content/information structure. Creating awareness on various web designing principles will be our first shot. Then we move on to colour theory where we teach the colour matching tips, RGB, CMYK usage and values. Design / artistic direction and teaching come later.
Our step by step teaching methodology
- Study the student’s mindset, capabilities and his/her communication skills
- Test their attitude and interest
- Observe their analytical skills
- Fine tune their perspective on web designing and branding
- Explain them a few real time success stories and few big failures in the design industry to motivate and make them munch few thoughts on their career.
