About
Students create and execute various web/graphic design concepts and present finished artwork using a combination of traditional studio media and digital technologies. On completion graduates gain the vocational training to enter the industry as an assistant or junior designer in a professional practice, or work as a freelance designer. S16 has taken every step to keep the course updated and we claim that we are the only company in India to follow an out of the box teaching methodology which can only be experienced and not explained.
About the Faculty
Almost anyone can create a website with today's web development tools. But really good websites are designed by practitioners with experience as consultants in the field. Faculty in website programs should be active practitioners, enabling them to bring recent, cutting edge design concepts and tools into the classroom for the students. Faculty should be up-to-date on the latest happenings in the field - again, this may not be the 'traditional' faculty member with a PhD.
Rather a balance of real world experience, graphic design and technological skills make up the ideal profile for the website design faculty member or an S16 FACULTY MEMBER
Duration
The Diploma takes 8 Months of intensive part time study to complete. Classes are held daily and consist of formal lectures, tutorials, workshops, supervised and unsupervised computer work and research. All assignments and projects are mandatory.
Prerequisites
You need to have completed 12th or equivalent and have basic computer knowledge and English communication skills. Certain exemptions apply if you are over 21, have previous experience or knowledge of the subject matter.
Remember, S16 has trained student’s ranging from age 6 to 60.
Software
All current top end web/graphic/open source applications design programs are covered in this course.
Project
You need to create your own profile, website, Biz Card, Print Collaterals, blog, enroll in major social networking sites, frame concepts, write contents, do the SEO, animate, brainstorm, have fun, shed some tears to clean your vision, install a forum, few quick real time projects and lot more .... Remember, S16 will make your brain bombard and mind twist and we guarantee that whatever the hardships you will undergo, we will ensure that a smile always remains on your face!
Computer Access
We have an open access policy. All students are free to use our facilities at any time that the school is open (subject to availability).
Class Size
Classes are always limited to a maximum of 4 participants.
