Business Development Executives
Responsibilities include:
- Mapping out the strategies, programmes, plans and budgets to achieve the objectives of our educational activities
- Developing and administering programmes to groom young design talents
- Developing and administering development programmes to support S16 WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGNING SCHOOL & participation in prestigious international platforms so as to build their reputation globally
- Creating and facilitating expertise exchange and industry development platforms for S16 WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGNING SCHOOL and international designers to cross-pollinate and advance design thinking for new value creation and creation of new innovations
- Establishing S16 WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGNING SCHOOL as a centre of design excellence by attracting international organisations to hub significant design activities in Coimbatore
- Developing and managing a comprehensive programme to support future scenario planning, design research development, new intellectual property, IP creation and the trading of idea prototypes to maximise return of investment from design IP
Requirements:
- Strong interest in design and appreciation of the arts and media
- Degree, preferably in business management and/or design in any field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant experience, public or private sector, in business development, project management, talent promotion or industry development
Design Promotion [ Media Managers/ Event co-ordinators/Internet Marketers ]
Responsibilities include:
- Mapping out the strategies, programmes, plans and budgets to achieve the objectives of design promotion
- Developing and managing a programme to create a better understanding of the value of design to businesses and to facilitate adoption of design by businesses
- Organising collective presentations at distinguished international platforms and events to raise the profile of Coimbatore design and designers
- Identifying and leveraging on opportunities to capture mindshare on Coimbatore as a world design city
- Creating national design awards as benchmarks for design excellence as well as to showcase and promote Coimbatore design and designers locally
- Developing greater awareness of design among the public and heightening awareness of current design thinking and issues through public lectures, public engagement activities and other media channels
Requirement:
- Strong interest in design and appreciation of the arts and media
- Degree, preferably in marketing communications and/or design in any field
- Relevant experience in marketing communications, publication, events management, public relations or advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An appreciation of new media developments and a keenness to explore new opportunities offered by new media
